.. Tattva, a mobile day spa, has launched in the National Capital Region recently. Both offer massages, body treatments and facials at home..
.. For Anita Kaushal, a trained cosmetologist who founded Tattva, the mobile spa enables her to move beyond a neighbourhood audience. “I want to provide the best service to a large number of people,” she says. The mobile spas aim to recreate a spa ambience within your home. So the therapist brings everything from a treatment table and linen to candles, flowers and even music. Tattva’s therapists carry ‘visual placements’ like lamps and earthern pots too. It takes 15 minutes to set up before a session.

Shipra Goyal, working with an MNC in Gurgaon, hardly has time to unwind through the week. “And on weekends, I have to scramble through the household chores. Delhiites are a pampered lot. If a hectic week at work doesn’t leave you with enough time or inclination to head to a spa to relax and rejuvenate, worry not, as the spa will come to you..
.. Preeti Gupta, senior manager operations, Tattva Spa shares, “Tattva Spa caters only to women and we have trained women therapists. We launched in January this year and the response has been very encouraging. We require 24-48 hour notice prior to an appointment. Our facials, massages and body treatments are customised to the requirements of the client. We carry our mobile equipment from aromatic candles, music, Swedish bed, linen and reach the client’s home 10 minutes prior to the appointment time to set up everything.”
Twenty-seven-year-old Supriya Sharma from Gurgaon got to know about Tattva Spa from the Internet. “I took a pre-bridal package from them in March as I was getting married in April. They customised the package according to my needs. I liked their services and the biggest plus point was that they came home…

..Mobile spas are increasingly getting popular with busy, urban woman.. Spa parties are the rage. Mobile spas now cater to kitty parties, mehendi ceremonies and casual get-togethers..
..Prerna Verma, 28, a senior manager with a telecom company, was getting together with four friends at home. The idea was to relax and have some fun. She called Tattva, a mobile spa in Delhi. “They decorated my living room and the four of us had our treatments together.. The therapists were thoroughly professional and it was a lot of fun. We paid Rs. 9000 for four treatments, which was quite economical” She prefers mobile spas to day spas for their ‘home’ convenience.
