I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and a facial. Lizzy, the masseuse, was excellent. She worked through a lot of knots in my back. Every now and then she would check to ensure I was comfortable with the pressure. The massage was both relaxing and therapeutic. 90 minutes flew by I wished it had been longer. Thank you Lizzy! The center as a whole is nice. Mimi, the front office staff was also friendly and had a good conversation while I sipped on some post massage tea. All in all, a good experience.

The Tattva Spa at the Marriott Courtyard Colva is brand new and everything is clean and works well. They have a somewhat slim spa menu but seeing as it's a TINY spa they've done well. I have had two treatments with Lizzy and she was very good indeed. I can't give it a full five stars only because of the electricity situation- and it's something the spa can do nothing about. The electricity cuts out again and again and then judders back into life. I was in the steam room and there was an electricity cut and it was uncomfortable being in a pitch black tiny room full of steam.

I recently went for a Swedish massage and it was genuinely relaxing. I was welcomed by Mimi who suggested what I should be getting especially due to my recent travels. I was then under the care of Anora, who's skills were good and mannerism was better. She made sure the pressure she was applying was adequate and constant. Even with the 60min session she made sure I wasn't bothered with the time and stopping in the way just because it was 60mins. The facility was beautiful and resourceful. The drinks before and after the massage really hit the spot. Will visit again.
