Very good therapists but terrible receptionists. I have a membership here given as a birthday gift. At the time of membership all services on the menu were sold as "included". However, once you avail the service it mysteriously becomes not part of the membership and you have to pay "over and above" the printed costs. They don't even bother mentioning this at the time of scheduling the appointment or before the service. The receptionist also has a lovely gotcha attitude as if she is paid commission to extract more revenue from members. "Medam, you have to pay for this, you have to pay for that. YOU should tell me you are a member,etc." Will not be coming again and definitely will not be renewing my membership.

This was my first time in Tattva and as expected I was not disappointed. Nana- the masseuse was pretty good and knew her stuff, I opted for a Swedish massage and she was sure to check with me on the optimum pressure and I liked her service. The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5, is because the catalogue or the website did not make very evident that there was an additional 15% GST and service charge. Since I am a regular at other reputed spa places, I was expecting the price to be inclusive, however it was not. Rest it was good!

Finished a 1:45 therapy 30 minutes early. Therapy itself was ok, but nothing to the level of Jiva spa by Taj or their own Tattva spa in Novotel. Hard product was also dirty, footmarks on floor towel, frsh towel smelling of oil. Overall not worth the high cost, much better spas available for this high amount.

The rating is for the spa staff who did excellent job. Hospitality & service was really disappointing. The male manager who sits there is extremely a disgrace to the brand. He is an unprofessional,obnoxious man & as people make the brand, I am forced to think twice about going back there now. It was a very traumatizing experience from the word go. He tried his best to humiliate, mock & belittle me. A glass of water to be given to me came at the cost of abusing his staff. He might have confused me with someone who doesn't follow Hindi :) as he muttered and abused away. If my self esteem was any lower, I perhaps would have been affected by this. He had the audacity to body shame me & force his staff to giggle under the pretext of selling a package. I had prebooked my session & people who came in without appointments were asked to go in & I was sitting right next to his table to understand what was going on. He was extremely rude & even yelled at me for using the bathroom which is outside of the spa area during my treatment time. His constant line of questioning was "will someone come pay for you?? What the hell do you mean by that? Am I a small kid?"He said, " Looking at what you are wearing,I am asking you it you can afford our premium services " he said. I understand that he judges a book by it's cover. He doesn't understand Under Armour & Nike takes money & a good fashion sense. However, he kept insisting that I pay before I start the treatment while he let others pay post treatment. I don't believe it was me at all. He worships foreigners & struggles to even extend basic courtesy to Indians who pay the same amount for elite treatments. I initially let it go thinking that he is having a hard day. But he just was very condescending & very rude even asked his staff to tell me to leave the premises while I sat there waiting for cab. Why this behaviour? Did his old triggers come alive after meeting me ? Why the frown when I spoke in the local language while I sat their waiting for my turn? The founders seem to have done a great job here, but I hope they understand that what was supposed to be a relaxing experience actually was stressing me out & traumatising only because one person decided to misbehave & consistently push my buttons? I request only for him to learn and polish his behaviour & not ruin someone's experience because of his own personal bias.

Had a bad experience here. Booked an appointment for a full body massage for 2 and specifically requested for a room together female specialists. They confirmed the booking with details requested. But when we turned up, we were first informed that they had only one couples room which was taken. This is both frustrating and unprofessional for the price they charge. Go at your own risk, you may just have to turn back which we did.

Not a good experience!! I had an appointment at 4.30 pm , got entry at 5.15 pm . I had left some other task in middle just to reach there in time. And i was not the only one waiting for half hour and more there was another guest also waiting for so long. After the waiting , the service was also not upto the mark of the amount paid. I had opted for Swedish massage but the lady giving the massage just didn't have the basic pressure also in her massage. Despite asking to increase the pressure she was not able to give the pressure, last but not the least the infrastructure of the room was more depressing than refreshing. I think we tak spa for refreshment and not the other way round. The bathroom had water logging issue ( picture attached ) and water was coming out of the bathroom due to that ( yet again picture attached ) Overall a very sad experience !!! We paid 7k for the whole experience , it was just not worth it.

Very professional Total cost for a Swedish massage came down to 4088 with tax for 60mins. Though it's on the high end. But service and professionalism made the cost worthy Kukum tea and herbal drink was good The steam bath was good as well. Towel could have been better since the smell of oil was evident when drying up after the bath.

During my stay at Grand Mercure this month. I decided to visit the tattva spa for a massage. Booked an afternoon session, and i was greeted by the spa manager at the entrance with a smile. I was required to fill in the general form with details. They offered me an herbal drink, which was delicious. My therapist Barnali (if i remember the name right), she was amazing. I end up getting a tattva special massage, which includes body stretching and body massage. This is a 90-minute session. The therapist was very detailed and focused on my area of concern. I was only disappointed with the facilities, the room was a bit dull, the ceilings were rusty and broken. The shower's facilities wasnt working properly, i mentioned to the manager to get the water drainage fixed. Overall, the therapist scores 5 stars, but facilities need some uplifting.

We booked for Swedish massage 1. We weren’t asked for choice of oil before getting into the spa room 2. My masseuse didn’t ask me for any preference on pressure though I kept giving feedback during massage 3. In the form I had filled I asked to focus on my feet, hands but the masseuse didn’t do it at all 4. She didn’t even know how to massage. I have taken Swedish massage many times at your spa and I very well know what it is like to get a good massage 5. She randomly massaged and there was no technique. 6. She put so much oil that her hands were slippery while massaging. The overall experience was horrible. Why send someone who doesn’t know how to massage?? Why do we pay a premium for a spa that’s this pathetic!! This is my second time at this branch. We went for a spa in February at this spa and the experience was good and hence booked again but this time it was really bad.

I had a chance to avail Tattva spa service on 13th Jan Friday at Koramangala facility. Overall it was not a great experience and following are some details, - No basic infrastructure to store your clothes and had to place it on some seating area - Pillows not right size and quite a discomfort when resting your neck - Steam not working in the bathroom and had to shift to a different room post the massage (not quite comfortable moving around) - Rooms are not that great compared to other Tattva facilities - Billing was not very clear since GST is > 18% (guess they charged 24%) - Service charges included in the bill and not explicitly mentioned in the pricing

Had my first massage here (ever) and it was amazing. When you walk in, they offer you Kokum juice And Water . I suggest going for the kokum juice . It's awesome! The oil they use is very hot and aromatic. The staff is very friendly. The ambience is very nice. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and I will definitely be coming back.

<updated with most recent experience> Not sure if the staff or management has changed, very disappointing the whole experience today - no staff at front desk at arrival, therapist was inexperienced, room was not set, steam not available, hot water after considerable wait and the massage was not deep tissue. Not the usual experience and service was definitely not worth it. The place is quiet and cosy, situated at the grand mercure, koramangala. very easily accessible for me and I have found their massages better than some of the other spas in the area. Deep Tissue massage was very good, place was squeaky clean. Their online booking system is not very robust and often do not receive a call back, better to go via the hotel and make a reservation.

Superb waste Spa "its just a brand name" thats all, infact O2 Spa was better I would say. 9 Months back Tattva Spa was started here @ Hotel Grand Mercure - Koramangala. This Spa is enough to bring bad name to the entire hotel. #No trained massage therapist. (My valuable time and money was wasted) #No courtesy with customer, staffs behaviour was like as if they are running massage centre in road side, very cheap behaviour.

I think it’s just me who had a real bad experience!! Sorry to say but was not quite satisfied with the massage . I had asked them for a low pressure massage,but it turned out to be a rather painful one. Secondly I had taken the vitamin facial, which surprisingly left my skin with more breakouts rather than what it says should have done. And then comes the hygiene part , even though ‘I believe’ the bed covers were clean, the towels used for massage & for shower were so not clean. I could totally see through the dirt from half a mile & the smell aah!! Don’t get me started on it, so off putting!! Overall I had a totally bad experience & on top of it this was a Bday present to me from my sister. Very much disappointed. Will never visit again & neither will I recommend this to anyone. Sorry not sorry!!
