I had taken the therapy package earlier. At the time of purchase, the receptionist mentioned that the package was meant for weekdays but also assured me that we could try to accommodate sessions on weekends internally. Since I’m usually available on weekends, I went ahead with it. However, when I called after a month to book a weekend session, I was told that the package couldn’t be used on weekends and that it would only be fulfilled on weekdays — which was different from what I was initially informed.

Had a very relaxing spa experience starting off with a surprise room decor (Valentine's) with welcome drinks and chocolates.I chose to go for a deep tissue massage with high pressure and it did not let down.This was followed by a 10 minute steam bath and a relaxing shower to cool down. We then were served chamomile tea to send us home relaxed and ready to battle the week.Melina and Kimi were just amazing and made sure we enjoyed the entire experience.The pressures were adjusted according to our liking (couple spa) and extra attention were given to our sore muscles.Overall a brilliant experience and we'd definitely be coming back to try out the other packages! I had a lovely experience at Tattva - Holiday Inn I got the Swedish massage. My masseuse Rose was soft spoken and made me feel comfortable from the start. The massage was good and Rose made sure the pressure was just right making the experience extremely relaxing for me. I enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend this place and Rose.

I had a great experience at the Tattva Spa where we were greeted by the lovely lady Ms Angolet from Nagaland who was professional, friendly and gave some great massage suggestions. We were treated with a welcome drink which tasted out of the World and on her recommendation I took the deep tissue massage. My Massuese was a very soft spoken and professional lady called Ms Pilti. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the massage. The Staff at Tattva spa are professional and the place is extremeley clean and hygienic. Pilti provided an exceptional service and kept making sure I had a comfortable time throughout the massage. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and post that we were offered a special herbal tea drink. Front office staff 5* Masseuse 5* Facilities 5* Location manager 0* We skipped our usual spa and went to Tattva at Holiday Inn for a couples massage for our 10th anniversary. Our reservation was done through their customer care number and we were promised that the website prices would be matched. When we reached the spa the front office staff were very helpful. Then the masseuses were just brilliant. Once done we decided to pay and that was when the problems started. The location manager was on leave and telephonically asked the front office staff to charge for two separate massages instead of a couples massage. Her logic - the couple's massage was already discounted and they couldn't provide further discounts (which their website does offer). When I talked to the lady on the phone, she refused to budge. I then politely explained her their website offer and showed the front office staff their live web page. The managers response was "if you want a web offer, simply book it from the website. Why did you go to CRM?" . I again explained to her that the CRMs had promised a price match. But she refused to listen. She made us call the customer care number three times and the customer care folks each time agreed that they had agreed to a website price match offer. And yet, the location manager refused to accept the deal. Finally someone from their customer care team called me and apologized and told the front office to charge the agreed price. We wasted atleast 30 minutes of our time on a special day because of a single employee who refused to listen. Even though the masseuses did a fabulous job, the spa for me doesn't deserve a high rating because of the manager's absolute apathy. Hence the 2 star rating.

I took a swedish massage (90 mins). The masseuse did a great job of focusing on my problem areas though I had to tell her once or twice to reduce the pressure. But overall, I loved the experience. The entire establishment is clean and very inviting- something that's so essential when you go in for a relaxing spa. Even the steam area was clean, spacious and steamy! 😊 Overall, I'd highly recommend this. The total for mine ( and one more person) came to 10.6 K. Yes... It's a bit on the higher side but 90 mins+ steam + bath! That's a good deal!

Absolutely horrid experience getting a facial at this "spa". The women did not stop chatting the entire time in the lobby so there is no quiet for relaxation. The young woman who was giving me the facial didn't seem to know what she was doing and spent the entire hour complaining about how much she hated Mumbai and making low-key racist comments including how I must not be a "real" American because I look Asian. Excuse me?? Worst was when it came time to pay, they couldn't figure out how to get the card machine to work and when we went into the elevator the woman literally stood in the elevator and looked confused. When I asked if she didn't know how to push the "L" button for the lobby she responded "actually we use a different elevator for ourselves so of course I don't know how to operate this one". Lady - it's an elevator, not brain surgery. Left more stressed than when I went in. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else - I've never had an experience like this and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Tattva spa is situated on the 7th floor of the Holiday Inn hotel at Saki Naka. It's a great place to get away from the madness of Mumbai and pamper yourself to one of their relaxing spa experiences. My wife and I opted for the vanilla and nutmeg body polish (a 45 minute treatment) which is a combination of a massage and an exfoliating scrub. The staff were extremely nice and professional and took excellent care of us. The place itself is very clean and quiet. At the end of our session, we felt super relaxed as we sipped on our herbal tea. We highly recommend the place if you want to experience luxurious spa treatment in Mumbai.

Escape to tranquility in an Urban jungle The place is located on the seventh floor of Hotel Holiday Inn located right next to the Saki Naka metro station. So, it’s easily accessible and the building is a high rise making it easier to locate. Saki Naka, where this SPA is located, is a very busy place lots and lots of traffic making loads of noise so the first thing that you notice as soon as you enter the hotel building, that it’s quiet which puts you in the zone. You take the elevator from lobby to seventh floor and there you are greeted with another well-lit lobby, thick cladding of rag on the floor adds further to noise insulation as well as you feel more at ease as you go down the lobby. The place is clean the refreshing ambient aroma adds to the tranquility. As soon as you enter the SPA area, there is reception to your right and you find a pretty smiling face greeting at you, which immediately offers you a seat welcome drink follows and then you’re allowed to have your time with the menu card that is sitting on the coffee table right in front of you. You choose a service of your desire and wait as you are sipping the welcome drink, until you’re notified of readiness your room. The room here is similar to any executive class room of a good hotel, there is a wardrobe to your left as soon as you enter the room where you can put your belongings, in front of you is a massage table, to the right of it is a shower room and a wash basin on the other side. The healer comes to you and advises you to remove your clothing and put on the disposable underpants, leaves the room while telling you to knock at the door when you're ready. The healer comes in within 2-3 minutes of your knocking at the door and the whole process of your relaxation begin. Pro tip- trust your healer and do as she says and you'll have a rejuvenating session. There are plenty of massages to choose from viz. Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, etc refer to photos of the menu card available here there are certain treatments which combines two or more massages. I have been staying in Mumbai lately, recently shifted here and was not been able to sleep fully ever since so, I have opted Deep Sleep which is a 120-minute session containing Deep tissue massage, Head massage and foot reflexology and to my experience it worth every penny. I felt very relaxed and was wanting to sleep right after the session. Footnote- This was my first time to a SPA and anyone first timer here may have a lot of questions in their head about the whole process, a few that I had in my mind are- Q- What to wear? A- Wear anything which is easy to undo because, that is what needed for the therapy. And do take a bath before going to the place because, you don’t want to give eww to the healer. Q- What therapy should I take? A- Discuss your needs from a therapy, with the healer OR receptionist and figure out what suits you best. Q- Budget? A- You'll have to shell out at least Rs. 3304.00 (Swedish massage 60 minutes incl. 18% GST). My advice, forget about the budget if you’re finally here. Q- Looking for ‘Extra’. A- Dude! This is not Thailand, and this is a very decent place, they successfully calm your nerves down through the therapy only and you will not need the ‘extra’ here. One caution for any first timer- they've asked me if I wanted steam and I agreed immediately and if you are like me just sit closer to the alarm button because, steam room can get plenty warn really quick. Finally, my experience there have been pretty awesome every person working there is courteous and knows exactly how to deliver the kind of service a customer deserves.

I just had a visit here . And the experience was outstanding . The therapy was quite hard on me and definately , that's what I had expected. At many places , they just consider Deep Tissue and Swedish equal ( in practise ) . Welcome drink was very nice . I didnt mind asking for one , which was served with the same warmth as the earlier one. Receptionists and therapists , both were professional as well as friendly . I was told to choose an oil from 4 ,I haven't seen this anywhere else till now even at similar range spas . The thing which fell below expectation was the location of the steam room . I had to pass all the way by the reception to go there . And I saw a few guests at reception . It seems really crazy to go that way on so minimum clothes . I guess the guests too would have a somewhat similar feeling watching this. Another thing which went not as expected was the absence of small stand or appropriate space to keep the bath scrub & shower gel . These two things I haven't undergone anywhere , not even in lower range spas . I hope in future these things are considered , and as seen at few places , it's possible to have a steam in the bathroom . Thanks for the RS 1000 voucher .

Steam room is common so the guest have to walk from their massage room to the open lobby and then into the steam room which is very embarrassingfor guests 3. The therapist does their job decently well but I am not skilled enough. 4. Washrooms are dirty. 5. You will not get the appointment of the same day as most of the slots are booked. 6. Leakage of water in the steam room. Pros: 1. The management is cooperative 2. They care about your needs 3. The Spa is very close to the airport

During my Staycation at Holiday Inn Mumbai I tried Tattva Spa. which is located on 7th floor in the prime property. The receptionist was extremely polite and professional. They welcome you with their traditional Ginger tea. They provide you four different oil options and we need to decide from the fragrance we prefer. The Spa lets you relieve all the tension. I tried the Deep Tissue Massage, which let you lose all your body pain and anxiety, 60 minutes of relaxing and rejuvenating Masseuse session ends with a steam bath. One of the best therapy. Massage session by therapist washing my feet in a copper vessel and I then we moved to massage table. She confirmed if the pressure, the music and the temperature in the room were okay and after my affirmation she started the therapy. Loved the calmness of room, it was so soothing. After steam bath, shower I was offered green tea and honey. The whole experience at Tattva spa was a wonderful one. I will surely re-visit as they are moderately priced compared to others in the city.
