Disappointing Experience – Not What You Expect from a 5-Star Spa I visited Tattva Wellness Spa located inside Radisson Noida, Sector 55, expecting a relaxing and premium experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. To begin with, spa rooms do not have attached washrooms, which was surprising for a setup inside a 5-star hotel. After the massage, when I asked to take a shower, I was taken to another massage room that had a washroom — not only was this uncomfortable, but also highly unprofessional. When I asked why I wasn’t assigned a room with a shower in the first place, I was told “it should be requested in advance,” which honestly makes no sense in a luxury spa environment. The shower setup itself was extremely poor — a cramped area of barely two floor tiles, making it difficult to even take a proper shower. It completely ruined the post-massage experience, which is meant to be relaxing. When you’re going to a spa inside a 5-star hotel, you expect comfort, hygiene, and smooth service — but sadly, none of these were up to the mark. Not recommended for those looking for a genuinely premium and relaxing spa experience.

After reading rave reviews, I thought I should give it a try. I opted for a deep tissue massage but it wasn’t even remotely close to a Swedish one. The personnel employed was simply rubbing oil on the body and applied pressure only when I insisted. Please don’t cheat us and hire a masseuse who know the difference between various massages

First they welcomed us with a lovely kokum juice, a sign of exquisite hospitality. Then I was led to my massage room. The aroma of the oils was beautiful. The massage strokes were medium to light and very relaxing. The pressure was just right. It went from toes to head, covering all body areas and muscles. We went for deep tissue therapy . Their ambience is amazing along with very hospitable and experienced staff . Aanchal, in particular had plethora of knowledge regarding muscle relaxation techniques and she was able to relax my stiff shoulder with just the right pressure and movement. They provided hot towel and rubbed across the body for locking the oils within and removing the extra moisture away. It was followed by steam bath for a sauna like experience. I visited twice to Tattava Spa. First time it was good. Second time I visited with my wife and my wife's experience was very bad. She did not like the service and in her room washroom was not there.After therapy, she was asked to move another room for shower and again in that room there was no shower gel. For me first it was good but second time it was not upto the mark. My wife also told me that therapist was not very polite in gestures.

Had filled out a form highlighting which areas needed more attentions vs which to avoid, that information was completely ignored. Room didn't have enough light leading to a gloomy ambience; the masseuse made a very curt exit immediately after the 60minutes were up without indicating what to do next. Spent 5mins lying on the table before I realized she's not coming back, no one was around to help with the lack of light in the room - ended up using phone's torch to dress myself. Left feeling very uncomfortable than relaxed..

Went in for a 60 minute signature massage which was a great combination of Swedish massage and stretches, the therapy started with chilled kokum drink, followed by a foot cleansing, a nice relaxing and rejuvenating full body massage with meditative olive oil specially produced with a mix of various herbs and ended with steam, shower and a cup of hot green tea. The Spa was great where the therapist gave her best during the therapy. The cleanliness, ambience, decor and all the frills have been tidy and great. However the nitty gritty especially the etiquette is what I was surprised and shocked. The placing and removing of the towel during the therapy on each body part during the massage wasn't in a relaxed manner, too many noises from the spa or salon area, of items falling down on the floor, and so on. The Salon was worse. Mr. Manish, he lacks basic training of hair skills where I tried to even through a picture portraiyed what kind of a hairstyle I would want , however he gave me a 180 degree response to that. On top of that, I get to hear the comment from him that my hair are less ( while he is blow drying my hair) rather than interacting with the guest on a lighter or a different topic. I request the HR, the TRAINING or LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM along with their GENERAL MANAGER to kindly have in house training sessions more often as well as have etiquette building skills trainings more often. In fact if they do not have a proper trainer or in house staff to do so then they should especially appoint one to do so as soon as possible. The hotel was fabulous and marvelous during it's Park Plaza days, sadly it needs improvisation.
